Hi, I'm Sakina, an interior designer turned artist who fell in love with painting after spending over five years designing homes and commercial spaces. Today, I combine my design background with my love for art, creating paintings that bring beauty, warmth, and a sense of calm into homes and interiors.
When I'm not painting, you'll usually find me curled up with a book and a cup of coffee in hand, soaking in quiet moments, just like the ones I try to capture on canvas.
ABOUT MY ART
My work blends abstraction with recognisable forms, using colour and gesture to capture moods and atmospheres rather than focusing on fine details. I’m deeply inspired by Impressionism, especially how it captures fleeting moments and emotion through loose brushwork.
I often find myself looking up at the sky, marvelling at the ever-changing shapes of clouds and the colours that sweep across the horizon during sunset. That quiet awe and wonder led to my very first collection- "Dreamy Skies", and continues to inspire much of my work.
I also love exploring symbolic themes in my paintings, often using art as a way to express deeper thoughts and emotions that are hard to put into words. It’s my way of telling stories that feel personal, yet universal.
I hope to create little moments of peace through my art and bring a touch of joy into the world with every piece I create.
