This painting carries a deeply symbolic message. I began by tearing papers with "Palestine" written on them, representing how their land, families, and lives are being torn apart. I then reassembled those pieces to form the Palestinian flag, a symbol of hope and resilience. The map of Palestine with the keffiyeh pattern further reflects their strength, while the olive leaves signify the peace and victory that will one day flourish in their homeland.
